Agera R will powered with 5.0-liter V8 with twin turbos which is the first in the world to use nano-surfaced cylinder sleeves from ANS. This part was used to reduced friction and fuel consumption. 5.0-liter V8 can produce maximum 1140 horsepower and 1200 nm of torque on E85 and E100 biofuel. The rev limiter has been raised from 7250rpm to 7500rpm. With 1140 hp, Koenigsegg Agera R will become the new fastest car with can reached maximum 273 mph on the top speed, faster than Bugatti Vitese which only can achieve 255mph. This super car also have the best acceleration that only need 2.9 second from 0 to 62mph, may be slower 0.3 second than Vitese.
Koenigsegg not give a significant change for the exterior, only add a sper light carbon fiber wheel with Aircore hollow, new technology from Koenigsegg. This new system will make the wheels about 44 lbs lighter. Koenigsegg Agera R also comes with the usual dynamic rear wing that uses to create wind resistance in high speeds. New lighter rear exhaust section which improves the performance of the rear diffuser and reduce total weight about 20kg.
