Today we have Asian cars with bold attitudes that don’t give a damn about copying America and Europe’s best, only beating them. That’s where the revised 2012 Nissan GT-R comes in. It’s the ultimate among a line of Nissans previously kept away from America, with the exception of a few gray-market Skyline GT-Rs from the 1989-2002 R32-R34 generations. They all trace their roots to the original 1969 Skyline GT-R, a cult legend among Japanese car fans that’s getting overdue credit from enthusiasts on a larger scale.
