The three-door, shooting-brake replacement for the 612 Scaglietti is Ferrari’s first model with four driven wheels. Despite provisions for two rear-seat passengers and the added utility of a hatchback, the FF grand tourer also is the brand’s most powerful road car ever, with a direct-injection 6.3-liter V-12 producing 651 horsepower and 504 pound-feet of torque. An aft-mounted, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic routes power to the rear axle, while a two-speed automatic positioned ahead of the engine motivates the front wheels, primarily in low-grip situations. Prices should start just below 300 grand; the first year of production is sold out.
458 Italia Spider: An open-top variant of the volume 458 will bow this fall and should go on sale by spring. Expect a price north of $250K and a cloth roof, although a folding metal hardtop remains a possibility.
