Porsche reveals 911
It was in 1952 that 13 Porsche drivers founded the world's first Porsche Clubs in Germany, and in honour of this 60th anniversary, Stuttgart has taken 13 new-generation (that's the 991 model spec, Internet geeks) 911 Carrera S models, and treated them to a very special package.

Porsche engineers have upgraded the base, 3.8-litre flat-six from 400bhp to 430bhp with a ‘Powerkit', and although performance times haven't been confirmed, expect a 0-62mph time of around four seconds and top speed in the region of 190mph.

These 911 Club Coupes also get a SportDesign pack, special ‘Brewster Green' paint, 20in SportTechno alloy wheels and decorative trim with individually created lettering for each customer. Oh, and an anniversary logo and model number.

Of the thirteen coupes, Porsche will keep one for itself (the cheek!) and put the remaining 12 up for offer via a raffle. Porsche Club members have until 16 July to enter a draw, and the twelve lucky ones will then get the chance to purchase the 911 Club Coupe. The cost? €142,831 in Germany (£115,000).

And for those humans not registered with a Porsche club - or in the charge of 115 big ones - Porsche is exhibiting some unique models at its Museum in honour of the 60th anniversary, including a 1973 911 T Coupe restored after a commission by the Porsche Club of America. There's also a 911 Turbo S belonging to Dr Wolfgang Porsche, a 1970 914/6 GT and a Porsche ‘Jagdwagen' Type 597.
